What We Value

Jesus Christ savior. burden-bearer. faithful one.
We are Christ centered because Christ is Lord. (John 1:1-14; Acts 2:36; Rom 1:1-5; Rom 5:1-2; Col 1:15-20; Heb 4:14-16)

God´s Word transforming. complete. true.
We adhere to the eternal authority and relevance of scripture. Both the Old and New Testament are the complete revelation of His will for eternal salvation and final authority for living out the Christian life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 119:105, 160; Psalm 12:6)

Make Disciples that Make Disciples bold. strategic. caring.
All members are to be equipped and engaged for the work of service. We are responsible to teach people the knowledge and power of scripture, provide an environment that develops the God given skills and gifts of people, and provide people the opportunity to penetrate the world that has been entrusted to them. (Gen 1:28; 2 Tim 2:1-7; Eph 4:11-16; 2 Tim 3:16-17; Matt 28:18-20)

Authentic Community loving. real. together.
Accountability, belonging, spiritual growth, and encouragement, all take place best with relationally-connected believers. This community happens finest through small groups that represent a person’s oikos. Our community should be used as a witness to the greatness of God. (John 13:34-35; Acts 2:42-47; 4:32; 1 Cor 11:17-34)

Missional Living intentional. adventure. creative.
As the church we will live visible, intentional, and focused lives. God created us and established the church to penetrate the culture and not to be an isolated group of people that live for our own comfort. We will influence the structures of existence (Spiritual, Socio-political, Material, and Mental Structures). We will strategically create a structure that produces an authentic and spiritual community that infiltrates every other structure in the Buda area (Schools, Neighborhoods, Businesses and City Government) in order to usher in the Kingdom of God. (Col 2:8-10; 2:20-22; 3:17, 23; Acts 1-28; 1 Cor 10:31 Eph 6:10-18; 1 Thess 2:6-12)

Family compassionate. commitment. impacting.
The foundation of the generations of people that create society is the family. Therefore our view on family is central if we are going to be a church that produces a healthy culture. We believe that the institution of marriage is to be a permanent, lifelong relationship between a man and a woman, regardless of trials, sickness, financial problems or emotional stresses. Children are a gift and blessing from His hand. We are therefore accountable to Him for raising, shaping and preparing them for a life of service to His Kingdom. We also recognize that the world is full of broken relationships and the church exists to bring healing to relationships and fill the gap when there is loss. (Gen 18:19; Duet 4:40; Psalm 78:1-8; Matt 19:3-12; Eph 5:22-33; Eph 6:1-4; 1 Pet 3:1-7)
